We are pursuing our goals as school counselors to help reach students academic, career, and personal/social needs. We have a passion for being an advocate for all children and truly believe that through strengths and collaboration, our school can be a safe and healthy environment for our students. Some of the things that we do to help meet the needs of our students are: Helping students recognize their strengths and abilities Promoting a positive and safe environment Developing career and college readiness Assisting in understanding how school performance can impact future goals Collaborating with teachers, parents, students, and administration Self-esteem and positive self-talk promotion Providing individual sessions Meeting the needs of our students through small groups and core curriculum Being a positive and open-minded person for the students to talk to
